Terms of service
A free product, described without pretending to be more than it is. Five minutes to read.

1. Who these are between
Between Creliant Software Private Limited (CIN U72900PN2017PTC173749)(“we”) and the laboratory whose workspace you create or join (“you”). By creating a workspace you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that laboratory.
2. It is free
No charge, no trial period, no instrument or user limit, no card. We are not promising it will be free forever, but if we ever change that we will give you at least 90 days' notice inside the product and you will be able to export everything first. We will not convert a free workspace into a paid one silently.
3. Your records are yours
Everything you enter belongs to your laboratory. We claim no ownership. You can export your register and history to CSV whenever you want, without asking. We use your records to run the service for you — and, as the privacy policy describes, we count activity for our own sales purposes. We do not sell your records, and we do not use them to train anything.
4. What this software does not do
Where the product suggests a maintenance or calibration interval, that is a starting default for you to accept or change — not advice, and not a standard. Your manufacturer's instructions outrank it.
5. Patient data
The service is not intended for patient data and no part of it asks for any. Do not type patient names, identifiers or results into free-text fields. If you do, you remain the controller of that data and responsible for it under the health and privacy law that applies to your laboratory. Tell us and we will help remove it, including from the audit trail where corrections do not otherwise erase it.
6. How we handle personal data for you
The Data Processing Agreement (version 2026-08-11) forms part of these terms. It sets out which data we process on your laboratory's behalf and which we control for our own purposes — the two are not the same, and the agreement is explicit about where the line falls and why.
It is versioned and will not be edited in place. If we issue a new version we will give notice inside the product before it takes effect; the version you accepted stays available.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reach another laboratory's data, probe or attack the service, upload malware, resell access, or use it unlawfully. Your lab is responsible for what the accounts in your workspace do — including anyone who joins through an invite link you shared.
8. No warranty, and what that means concretely
The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Specifically, and because vague disclaimers help nobody:
- No uptime commitment. There is no SLA. We may take it down for maintenance without notice.
- No support commitment. You can email us and we will do our best. No guaranteed response time. The one exception is the LIMS connection form, which says we will get in touch to finish the mapping — we mean that, but it is a courtesy, not a contractual term.
- Backups exist, and are not a promise to you. We run a backup job that snapshots the database, keeps copies for 14 days and verifies each one. That is disaster recovery for the service. It is not a per-customer restore service and you should not rely on it as yours — export your own data.
- Alerts are a convenience, not a guarantee. A missed maintenance, calibration or contract date remains your responsibility whether or not the product warned you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, or the cost of an assessment finding. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to USD 250. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims and reasonable legal costs to the extent they arise from your breach of sections 5 or 6, or from content you entered or linked to. This does not apply to any claim caused by our own act, omission or defect — if we leak data through our own bug, that is ours to answer for.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using AssetLab at any time, and ask us to delete your workspace — see Your data & deletion. We may suspend a workspace that is attacking the service or breaking section 6, and will tell you why unless telling you would make the problem worse.
If we ever discontinue AssetLab, we will give at least 90 days' notice inside the product, keep exports working throughout, and not delete your data before that period ends.
12. Contact about our other products
We will only email you about CrelioHealth if you ticked the box at signup. It is unticked by default and separate from accepting these terms — accepting these terms is not agreement to marketing. You can withdraw at any time in Settings, and doing so removes you from every future sales export. It changes nothing about the product you get.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes get a notice inside the product at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them; if you do not, export your data and ask us to close the workspace.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Pune have exclusive jurisdiction.
